What data, why, on what basis
Contact form
Data: name, email address, company (optional), your message.
Purpose: to reply to your request and, where relevant, discuss a project.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in replying to requests sent to us; pre-contractual steps if your request concerns an engagement.
Required fields are marked. Without them, we cannot reply.
Audience measurement
No audience measurement tool is installed on the website at this time. If we add one, it will only run with your consent, given through the cookie banner, and this policy will be updated beforehand.
Hosting technical logs
Data: IP address, date and time, page requested, browser.
Purpose: to run and protect the website (security, abuse prevention).
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure.
How long we keep your data
- Contact form messages: 3 years after our last exchange.
- Technical logs: 30 days at most, the period applied by the host.
Who receives your data
Only the TEMERITATI staff handling your request can access it.
Our technical providers, acting on our instructions:
- Hosting: Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Avenue #4133, Covina, CA 91723, United States
- Contact form delivery: our internal business development tool (gestion.temeritati.eu), hosted by Vercel Inc., whose database is operated by Neon Inc. and stored in Frankfurt (Germany)
We do not sell your data.
Transfers outside the European Union
Some data may be processed outside the European Union:
- in the United Kingdom, should data be shared with our sister company TEMERITATI LTD, in London. The UK benefits from a European Commission adequacy decision, renewed on 19 December 2025 and valid until 27 December 2031;
- in the United States: Vercel Inc. (hosting) and Neon Inc. (database of our internal tool, with data stored in Frankfurt). These transfers rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and, failing that, on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Cookies and trackers
At this time, the website sets no cookies and uses no trackers: no audience measurement or advertising tool is installed. No consent banner is therefore needed.
Fonts are served with the website: no connection to Google Fonts.
The LinkedIn link is a plain link: no tracker from this service is loaded on our website.
If we ever add a tool that requires consent, a banner will let you accept or refuse before anything is set, and this policy will be updated.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or erase your data, restrict its processing, receive it in a portable format, and object to its processing.
You can withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting earlier processing.
You can set instructions on what happens to your data after your death.
Write to steve.simen@temeritati.eu. We reply within one month. If in doubt, we may ask you to prove your identity.
Complaints
If you believe your rights are not respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr, 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, France).
Security
The website is served over HTTPS. Access to received messages is limited to authorised staff.
